We’re a growing global fashion company from Sweden, driven by a higher purpose: to drive meaningful change for women. Our commitment to women, sustainability, and customers guides everything we do as we build a brand-driven, sustainable company with a digital-first mindset. At Lindex, we’re all about doing things together – collaborating, sharing ideas, and supporting one another. Because together, we achieve more than we ever could alone.

Lindex is strengthening its organisation to bring commercial, product, brand, and digital capabilities closer together. As part of this transformation, several key roles are being recruited to the business. This position is part of that broader initiative and will play an important role in the company’s continued growth and development.

The opportunity

This is a broad international growth role with significant influence over how sales, marketing and customer development work together. You help build an empowered Business Team and ensure that strategy, capabilities and commercial investments translate into stronger customer and business results.

You play a key part in shaping a more customer- and market-led international retail business and helping accelerate Lindex's future growth journey.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced commercial leader to accelerate customer and market growth across mature, growing and new markets.

As Business Team Director Sales & Marketing, you own customer and market growth through market-cluster prioritisation, customer development and commercial investment decisions. You bring together sales, marketing, CRM, loyalty, commercial planning, production and merchandising around shared priorities and measurable outcomes across markets, customer segments and channels.

You lead an empowered Business Team together with a Digital Co-Lead, combining business ownership, digital development and continuous improvement. The team is accountable for running, optimising and developing its area, balancing short-term performance with long-term growth and capability development.

The Business Team is supported by Business & Process Developers, analytics capabilities and other functional expertise. The role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is part of the Commercial Management team.

Key responsibilities

  • Own commercial growth and performance across mature, growing and new market clusters.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across multiple markets, customer segments and channels.
  • Translate customer, market and behavioural insights into integrated sales, marketing, trading and customer-development plans.
  • Drive profitable customer acquisition, loyalty, CRM, retention, purchase frequency and customer lifetime value at scale.
  • Balance brand, customer, market and commercial considerations when prioritising media, campaigns, activation and marketing production.
  • Make commercial investment decisions and allocate resources across markets and initiatives.
  • Connect commercial planning, merchandising and stock allocation to improve availability and sell-through.
  • Translate Lindex’s strategy into a clear business plan, priorities, resource allocation and measurable results.
  • Lead the Business Team through the Run, Optimise and Develop agenda together with the Digital Co-Lead and supporting functions.
  • Connect commercial priorities with digital development, ensuring that investments and roadmaps create clear customer and business value.
  • Lead direct reports and functional specialists across reporting lines, developing leaders, capabilities and succession readiness.
  • Follow up performance, identify deviations and reprioritise when market conditions or business needs change.

About you

You are a commercially grounded and analytical business leader who understands how customer behaviour, brand, marketing and operational execution combine to create sustainable, profitable growth. You can set direction across markets, build alignment in a complex matrix and turn insight into clear investment and execution choices.

To succeed in the role, you need:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience within commercial, customer growth, marketing, retail or omnichannel businesses.
  • Proven results in customer growth, market growth and profitable commercial performance.
  • Experience leading growth across multiple geographies, including market prioritisation, customer development and commercial transformation.
  • Strong experience in customer acquisition, loyalty, CRM, retention and customer value initiatives at scale.
  • Experience developing and executing growth strategies across markets, customer segments and channels.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, including P&L responsibility, investment decisions and resource allocation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including leaders, in complex matrix organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, digital and enabling functions.
  • Fluent English and experience from an international, multi-market environment.
  • Experience in fashion retail, trading, merchandising, pricing, stock optimisation or market-cluster management is advantageous.
