Director of Group Communication
We are looking for a Director of Group Communication to an international consumer‑focused company undergoing an exciting transformation and growth journey. The role holds overall responsibility for group‑level communication, combining strategic, financial and brand‑driven communication in an international environment. This is not a maintenance role – you will be expected to build, challenge and elevate the group’s entire communication setup to create a more effective, modern and scalable function. Working closely with executive management, you will have a clear mandate to shape both structure and ways of working.

Your responsibilities

• Define and drive the group’s internal and external communication strategy
• Lead, develop and coach an international communication team
• Oversee financial communication, IR support and quarterly reporting
• Ensure quality, structure and compliance in corporate communication
• Drive employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HR and Brand
• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive management
• Support international expansion through business‑driven communication
• Develop digital channels, tools and new communication formats
• Manage media relations and crisis communication

You are a confident and strategic communication leader with strong business acumen. You combine structure with creativity, are comfortable advising senior executives, and thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment where you can take ownership and set direction. You are motivated by creating something new rather than maintaining what already exists. You thrive when given the mandate to rethink, redesign and improve. You bring a clear ability to transform structures, create clarity and drive efficiency across complex organizations.

Skills and experience

• Relevant academic degree in communication, journalism, business or equivalent
• Experience from strategic communication in a listed company environment
• Strong background in financial communication and Investor Relations
• International experience and remote leadership capability
• Experience within corporate communication and employer branding
• Fluent English, written and spoken
